Stacy Kidd was born in Chicago in 1972, Stacy started djing in 1987 after being amazed by the music he was hearing on the radio. I use to try to records mixes off the radio, and try to mixed them together on 2 tape decks, and some times I use to try to mix them together
on one radio with 2 tape players on it. After I was doing that for a year I got a good hear for the music and started to buy records. Now I didn’t own a turntable, but I still was going buying the new records. Now in 89’ I got a turntable and I started to do with a tape deck and one turntable, it was easy because I already was doing it with out a pitch on the tape decks, and now I have a turntable with one, so it made it easier for me.
Now in 1990 I was invited to a house party where I first played on 2 turntables, and there is where I meet Paul Johnson, now Paul was a friend of the guy who invited me to the party, and I was djing and I was playing a lot of unknown tracks that I got from other Producers like, Ron Hardy, DJ Rush, Armando and Farley JM Funk that I got when I first started playing.. and Paul had some track also that was unknown, and we stared comparing tracks that we had.. I will play one and then he will play one, and it went on for 2 hours and after that everyday we was hanging out and working on music together. In 1994 I did my first record with Paul on Dance Mania Records called "Stacy Kidd & Pilly P Doing Thangs Vol 1". Now after that release we’ve done 2 more Vol.’s of That Record Vol 2 & Vol 3, and then after that I did my first record alone called "15213 Loomis" on Dance Mania Records 1996. Now in that same year Paul came to me and said "man you need to start doing some club music and get out of that fast dance mania style of music" So I said cool, and I put out 3 Club Records in the same year on the following Labels, Huge Records (Chicago), Relief Records (Chicago) and Peacefrog Records in London. In 1997 I started traveling with Paul and doing different parties all over the world, now this was new to me and I was just loving it, so I just put all my focus on trying to produce more club style music, because that seems to be what all the people that was out off town was loving. Now in 1998 is where I really stared making noise everywhere in the world, I did 5 records in this year with the following labels: Dusttraxx Records (Chicago), Aftermidnight Records (Holland), Riviera Records (France), Daddy Records sub label of Peacefrog (London) and a remix
for Ministry of Sound Records in London. In 1999 I continued travel a lot more and meeting alot of the DJ’s & Producers from all over the world. Plus I released more tracks on Riviera Records, Dusttraxx Records
and Moody records in 99’. In 2000, Stacy was on a whole new level, he’s now doing more vocal projects and remixes for more new and respected labels. In 2000 Stacy released records for Yellorange Records, Silk Entertainment Records (Chicago), Tilted Records (Seattle), Celebrity Records (Minnesota) and Dusttraxx Records plus doing many Tours and Studio Session with alot of the top house Producers in the game... 2001 has been even more great for Stacy Kidd, he has done more Productions for more labels including Basement Boys Records (Baltimore), Yellorange Records (New Jersey), and Riviera Records (France). In 2002, Stacy started his new production company "Underground Elements", whichs includes female singer "Joi Williams" and male singer "Matthew Yates".  Producers/DJ‘s "Tim Funatik (Dallas)", Melvin Meeks (Chicago), Scott Payne (Chicago), and Ice Mike Lataker (Chicago).  In 2003, Stacy Kidd is "HOT", he was recognized as one of the versatile up and coming producer in Chicago by DJ Magazine.   Stacy also joined Louie Vega and Kenny Dope (MAW) family on their new label "Kenlou Records".  He released three records so far on the following labels: Music 101 Records (Chicago), Silk Entertainment Records (Chicago), Classic Records (London), and  has five more coming this year, two from Bumpin City Records (Chicago), Kenlou Records (New York), After School Records (LA), Dusttraxx Records (Chicago). Stacy has DJed all over this year including Russia, Sweden, UK, and a host of domestic places. So be on the look out for more hot productions from Stacy Kidd and his Production Company (Underground Elements), in the near Future, because I’m not done yet!!!!!!
